Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, semi-trucks) to transport goods throughout Los Angeles County
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and GPS routing for on-time performance
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for inventory tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route delays or issues
- Load/unload cargo securely following safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in California
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles traffic patterns and delivery zones
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass random drug screenings
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
