Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, semi-trucks) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and route optimization guidelines
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Secure cargo properly and verify delivery accuracy with electronic proof of delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and delivery management apps
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
