Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer units to deliver freight on time
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route optimization and customer communication
- Secure and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Assist with loading/unloading when necessary to ensure timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to travel overnight as required
