Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, straight trucks) for local and regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet tight delivery schedules
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and climb safely
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
