Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently based on traffic, weather, and delivery priorities
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Smartphone with reliable internet access for daily check-ins
