Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement of goods.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork as required by DOT regulations.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, including the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
