Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to deliver freight across Charlotte metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records per DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safety compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure cargo with proper loading/unloading procedures
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Charlotte area road networks
