Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via our proprietary tracking system
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for optimal route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism during client interactions
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and prioritize time-sensitive shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied weather conditions
- Familiarity with California roadways and hazardous materials handling
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic tech literacy for using our fleet management software
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
