Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Accurately complete logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers to verify delivery details and handle any necessary paperwork.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws, road conditions, and navigation systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
