Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations in and around Baltimore.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including BOLs and inspection reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore street routes and traffic patterns is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
