Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on schedule
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre/post-trip inspections
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans metro area
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends
- DOT medical certification required
