Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of goods using pallet jacks and forklift equipment
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain flawless safety compliance records
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate material handling equipment
- Familiarity with Memphis metro area and Mid-South transportation corridors
- Pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical examination
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
