Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, semi-trailers) to deliver freight on time
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate urban and rural routes efficiently using GPS technology
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with Baltimore metro area and surrounding counties
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
