Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods throughout Florida and neighboring states
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes dynamically for weather, traffic, and delivery priorities
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient load planning and scheduling
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no DUI/DWI convictions in past 5 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Florida highways
- DOT medical certification and physical exam clearance
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
