Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or straight trucks) to deliver products on scheduled routes
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight efficiently using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Navigate complex urban and suburban routes using GPS technology
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic logging system entries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Cleveland metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical certification and current physical examination
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer skills for electronic documentation systems
