Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on schedule
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties
- Resolve delivery discrepancies with professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (NY State)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of NYC metro area geography
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong communication and time management skills
