Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to deliver goods on time and in perfect condition
- Plan and execute efficient routes across Los Angeles County using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper material handling techniques and equipment operation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times
- Utilize digital dispatch systems for real-time tracking and communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and communication systems
- Professional communication skills and customer service orientation
