Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation (BOLs, mileage)
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
