Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps on flatbed trailers.
- Deliver freight to local destinations in and around Dallas, TX, adhering to time schedules.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a professional appearance of the truck and trailer at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new safety protocols.
- Availability for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
