Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on highways and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling techniques.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Ensure the cargo is secure and protected from damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- 3+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and travel regionally.
