Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on regional and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo safety during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- US Citizenship or valid legal work authorization is required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of trucking equipment and cargo handling.
