Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including Hours of Service (HOS) and delivery records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and traffic laws.
