Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations in San Antonio and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Document all cargo, mileage, and times accurately using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transit.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
