Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and status updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and delivery routes.
- Willingness to work weekends (Friday - Sunday) and holidays as required.
