Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers to operate our modern fleet. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to safety standards set by the DOT.
Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely drive and operate Class A tractor-trailers to deliver cargo to designated locations within the region.
- Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load & Unload: Secure cargo properly and assist in loading and unloading freight when required.
- Compliance Documentation: Maintain accurate records of miles driven, fuel consumption, and delivery logs (ELD/Logbook) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and dispatchers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues.
- Safety Adherence: Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License: Must hold a current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Driving History: Minimum of 1-3 years of verifiable driving experience; a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) is mandatory.
- Endorsements: Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are highly preferred for this location.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a DOT physical examination; must be able to lift heavy objects and sit for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read and understand maps and delivery instructions.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
