Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently across the Pacific Northwest.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, securing, and organization of freight.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Uphold a professional image while representing the Metro Transport Solutions brand.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Knowledge of Hazmat (H) endorsements is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regionally within Washington and Oregon.
