Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently across the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring product safety during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with necessary endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and physical exam.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance and safety regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
