Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT medical card and physical on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and road safety.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and sitting for long periods.
