Job Summary
We are a leading transportation company serving the Detroit and Ohio markets. We are looking for dedicated individuals to operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently, delivering goods on time and maintaining our high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on regional and OTR routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using forklifts and cargo bars.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and paperwork (bills of lading) for every trip.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure the safety of the public and crew.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required (out-of-state licenses considered).
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred, but Entry Level drivers with a clean MVR will be considered.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel and work varied shifts.
