Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo accurately, adhering to weight distribution and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and stay within Hours of Service (HOS).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and changes.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and professional conduct.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and road hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Washington.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be willing to travel regionally within the Pacific Northwest.
