Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and delivery paperwork.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
