Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer units to transport freight safely and efficiently across the western United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo properly using straps and chains to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the past 5 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
