Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to various locations in the Phoenix metropolitan area and beyond.
- Inspect vehicle before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs (electronic or paper) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of local Phoenix streets and highways.
