Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Nebraska and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks (no-touch freight available)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or refrigerated trailers preferred
- Strong knowledge of Nebraska roadways and regional geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations
