Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks on regional routes throughout the Seattle metro area.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight to customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance.
- Document cargo and delivery details accurately in Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized cab and cargo area.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices.
- Basic English reading and writing skills.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to the terminal.
