Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over various road conditions and terrains.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) to maintain accurate hours of service records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and trailer at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or be willing to obtain one through our training).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety, defensive driving, and adherence to traffic laws.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel within a 250-mile radius.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read maps and GPS navigation systems.
