Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all materials are secured properly for safe transport.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risk and accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) required.
- No Experience Required: We provide paid CDL training for qualified candidates.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two preventable accidents in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical duties associated with loading.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and customer service.
