Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing and protection of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be willing to obtain one through our sponsored training program.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
