Job Overview:
As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of goods across various routes. We value safety and reliability above all else and offer a supportive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers to transport freight safely and efficiently to delivery destinations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding route changes and delivery schedules.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle cabin and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and move cargo, and navigate various road conditions.
