Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any discrepancies immediately.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required shipping documentation.
- Ensure the safety and security of freight while delivering exceptional customer service at every stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) or be willing to undergo a background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to complete a paid training program if no prior driving experience is present.
