Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers on designated routes in and around Cleveland, OH.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure delivery expectations are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement procedures and safety regulations.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts.
