Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate electronic logbook (ELD) records and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous truck driving experience is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
