Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and legally on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using loading docks, forklifts, or hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required.
