Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and Daily Logs (DVIR).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical Certification.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs.
