Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Accurately maintain electronic logging devices (ELD) and driver's logs in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
