Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to various locations within the Mesa and greater Arizona area.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Secure cargo properly and load/unload freight using forklifts or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
