Job Summary
We are looking for professional drivers to operate commercial vehicles, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, verifying weight and securing loads for transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and complete all necessary delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and company procedures to minimize accidents and downtime.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized during and after shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when necessary.
