Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, timely, and legal manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Complete accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and paperwork.
- Maintain a professional appearance and clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and highway systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and operate basic manual controls.
