Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Transport goods safely and efficiently to designated delivery points in the Baltimore area and surrounding regions.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, or safety hazards during transit.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, shippers, and receivers to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (Class A).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle handling and cargo securement.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a satisfactory MVR check.
