Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck cab and trailer.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state of Missouri.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUI or reckless driving violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and cargo handling.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
